Oh Come Let Us Adore Him

Oh Come Let Us Adore Him

“Oh come let us adore Him, Oh come let us adore Him, Oh come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord!”

“Less gifts, more PRESENCE”. This was what a Nashville church recently put on their sign. And I couldn’t agree more …

My heart longs for Christmas to be all about Jesus.  I so long for Him to be the focal point of all our celebrations and traditions.  Yes, we should celebrate Him all year long in our hearts but … I would just like for us who are followers of Jesus Christ to “keep the main thing the main thing”.  Let’s not wear ourselves out so much with the meaningless that we ignore the meaningful . . .

Perhaps this post from a pastor Facebook friend says it better:

The Wise Men falling down and worshiping Jesus foreshadowed what the Apostle Paul would write about 50 years later- “every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.” I pray that bowing, worshiping and confessing Jesus’ Lordship is part of your daily and Christmas practice.

Jesus is Lord and is deserving of our worship!!

Thanks for letting me share my heart, my friends. 🙂  And may all of our hearts be full of His praise today!

Trish
